Ferrari Skid Plates
Among our most popular items are our Ferrari skid plates. We have applications for several models, including the 488GTB that you see to the right. Our skid plates are designed to mount to the underside of the front air dam and protect the paint from scratches and gouges from speed bumps, curbs, parking blocks, potholes, and steep road or driveway inclines.
Materials and Design
We construct our skid plates from a premium polymer plastic that is impervious to corrosion and will not fade, chalk or crack from UV exposure. We have designed each skid plate to fit perfectly on each application. We bevel the forward edge of each plate to provide a clean and tidy look when installed. On most applications, we drill and countersink holes in the plates for mounting hardware. The countersinking ensures the aluminum or stainless steel hardware remains flush with the bottom of the plate.
Skid Plate Installation
We use factory fastener locations when available. In several Ferrari applications, we use premium 3M double-sided tape to eliminate the need to drill holes. Under no circumstances do we remove the front bumpers from the vehicle to install our plates.
